Your customer could be the work force, job seekers, potential new clients, keeping existing clients and suppliers informed.
  7. Explore the technological issues
If this is your first website you will probably have enough to comprehend with other aspects of the website.  There are complex technical functions that control certain parts of a website.  In it's simplest it entails file transfer of the website to the server (FTP) and at its most complex maintaining the back-end of a shopping basket system.  You should be aware that there is a limit on the number of colours (about 250) and fonts (about 6) usable on the Internet.  What technology will the end user be using to view your website?
  8. Determine the timeline
When is the website needed?  A few days, weeks, several months or longer
  9. Determine the budget
How much has been allocated to the whole website topic.  Is this amount carved in stone or can more be added as and when it becomes necessary
