Implementation

The following is work for the designer but it is useful for the client to see the procedures in this area

  1. Implement the Design including multimedia or database components
    Put together all the elements that make up the website design
  2. Perform beta testing across multiple platforms and browsers
    Test to see if the website will work in different browsers and computer types
  3. Proof read all copy
    Although this should have been done before it is added to the website, text seems to grow errors after.  If they are simple they can be corrected on screen, other errors may need the intervention of the client
  4. Provide working templates
    Templates may not necessarily be exactly the same layout as the final website, they are there to test the parts
  5. Provide live web pages for key pages (and multiples of content pages)
    This will be the main pages with others inserted but blank to simulate the effects of a full working website
